@odilitime I also hope that I can find a method just to transfer the files. I would use the infrared port but my phone is too cheap to have an infrared port and I may have to resort to using a wii sensor on my computer.

@osaka something like https://www.amazon.com/Floppy-Drive-Emulator-Emulator-Keep-Install/dp/B0083Z29JO are great for working with old computers (also saw walmart had one on their site for $28USD)

@odilitime do you think I made a mistake by getting this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/302251675512?ViewItem=&item=302251675512

@osaka ah it's a laptop, funny I missed that. Hrm, cardbus is might a little too new for a windows 95 laptop. Look for PCMCIA (though it's hard because the opposite of what you need is popular). I have a windows 95 toshiba laptop too, a satelite 400CS
osaka
@odilitime Ouch, my uncle was the one who linked me to it.
osaka
@odilitime he actually works in computers.
odilitime R Odili
@osaka it happens, so much happened in tech in the 90s, it's hard to track it all as we get older
osaka
@odilitime do you think a 8GB solid state drive would work on a Satellite Pro 405cs?
odilitime R Odili
@osaka no because they were condensed 40 pin PATA connectors, all SSDs are SATA (not
pata or condensed pata)osaka
@odilitime Okay, thanks for the info. I kind of wanted to get a larger hardrive without spending $75.
odilitime R Odili
@osaka I have a 1.3gb in mine, there maybe weird issue after 32gb I think
odilitime R Odili
@odilitime meaning you may not be able to create a partition bigger than 32gb

odilitime R Odili
@osaka wow yea that should work
osaka
@odilitime I made 8GB a goal because it looks like the most my Satellite Pro can handle is 10GB.
odilitime R Odili
@osaka I'm calling it a night, ttyl, good luck
